Ferdinand Salonna

Mgr. Ferdinad Salonna, PhD. (1977) he graduated in pedagogy, with a specialisation in biology-chemistry. He started to work as a researcher at P.J. Safarik University and at the same time started his PhD studies at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He focused on inequalities in health and health-related behaviour among Slovak children and adolescents and also he is active in the field of health promotion and drug prevention among adolescents and young adults, At present he works as a researcher at the Institute of Active Living, Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacky University in Olomouc, and he also has an appointment at the Department of Engineering Education, Technical University in Košice, with some teaching duties.
